About Our Menu
Coffee
We serve rich, organic, Fair-Trade coffee, roasted by Loon’s Nest Coffee, in nearby Houston, MN and Council Oaks out of Sioux City, IA. Our house blends run from smooth and gentle to industrial-strength power. Check out our hot drinks, cold coffee, and specialty mocha menu.
We also offer a variety of non-coffee drinks for every taste. Enjoy our refreshing fruit smoothies, packed with real fruit and blended to perfection, or try a creamy matcha latte for a smooth, antioxidant-rich alternative. Our menu also features chai lattes, herbal teas, hot chocolate, and other specialty beverages to warm you up or cool you down. Whether you’re craving a caffeine boost or a soothing, caffeine-free option, we have something for everyone.
Take your delicious beverage with you or relax in our comfortable shop. Visit with a friend while enjoying a fresh-baked scone or a delicious breakfast sandwich from CannonBelles Coffee and Ice Cream, catch up on your email, or meet with your client and go over a presentation. Our Story
Once upon a time, in the charming town of Cannon Falls, Minnesota, a peculiar problem brewed—not a single coffee shop in sight. For a town built on good company and great conversation, this felt like a crisis. Jackie, Kathy, and Deeann often found themselves shaking their heads, wondering how a place so full of life could be so empty of lattes. Over countless chats (fueled by coffee from anywhere they could find it), a thought kept percolating—why not open a coffee shop themselves? What started as a half-serious joke turned into late-night brainstorming, a call to a realtor, and before they knew it, they were in too deep to back out. A week later, Jackie and Kathy pitched the idea to Deeann, and just like that, they were all in.
Of course, knowing you love coffee and knowing how to run a coffee shop are two very different things. Luckily, Jackie’s sister owned Caribbean Coffee House in Iowa and was full of wisdom (and warnings). Then there was Bob Carlson of Loon’s Nest Coffee, whose passion for a perfect cup was downright contagious. Armed with guidance, determination, and a borderline unhealthy caffeine intake, the trio dove in. They learned espresso-making, mastered café chaos, and poured their hearts into making every visit special. Soon, CannonBelles Coffee and Ice Cream was alive with conversation, laughter, and the sweet smell of success (and fresh coffee). What started as a simple “Wouldn’t it be fun if…?” had become a beloved community hub—proof that sometimes the best ideas come from just wanting a good cup of coffee.
